The film was previously titled  Avengers: Infinity War Part I . It’s followup is now in search of a name, with the previously titled  Avengers: Infinity War Part II , temporarily being referred to as an untitled Avengers movie. It’s still set for May 3, 2019. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo  said in May  during press for their hit  Captain America: Civil War , that they planned on renaming both Avengers films, which they are directing.  “The two movies are two very different movies,” Joe Russo told Uproxx, with Anthony Russo adding that the shared subtitle is “misleading.” “The intention is we will change it, we just haven’t come up with the [final] titles yet. But, yes, we will change it,” Joe Russo promised. “That is a scoop:

S uicide Squad Training Day writer David Ayer directs this feature based on the DC Comics anti-heroes, following a secret government agency that recruits imprisoned supervillains to carry out black ops missions. An all-star cast play the rogues gallery of inmates, with Will Smith as the assassin Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker and Margot Robbie as his clown-faced partner Harley Quinn. Taking its cue from Deadpool, Suicide Squad marks  a change of pace from the usual comic book blockbuster , as  Ayer told The New York Times . “Instead of this Soviet-style series of apartment-block movies that are all built to the same blueprints, there’s room for some Craftsman homes and a little more elegance.” After a critical panning for the most recent DC blockbuster, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Ayer is hoping for an adaptation in the spirit of The Magnificent Seven or The Dirty Dozen. “It’s a little morally challenged, but we know we can get away with it.” On general release from 3

Instagrams of the Week: Rihanna and the Summer Fur vs. the Summer Frock

Image
As this week’s Instagram feed reinforced yet again, summer is the season of the dress—in particular, the sort of breezy, bohemian frock that’s barely made of more than a swatch of fabric, but still manages to make an impact. Take  Olivia Wilde ’s lemonade yellow peasant dress that flatters her baby bump. Snapping a mirror selfie, the expecting mother didn’t need more than a bright blue glow behind her for an accent.  Miroslava Duma ’s strapless chambray tent version is painstakingly simple, but against a brand-new tan acquired on vacation in Ponza, Italy, and a twisted head wrap, it makes for a perfectly realized look. The same could be said for actress and writer Tavi Gevinson, reclining poolside across a chaise lounge in her Lisa Marie Fernandez checkerboard seersucker two-piece, a look amped up with  Miu Miu  platform heels. But for those looking for a little more coverage on hot summer days, the answer was inexplicable yet definitive. Tyler the Creator’s rabbit fur (with the l

The UN Security Council has authorised the deployment of a UN police force to Burundi to try to quell violence and human rights abuses in the country. Indonesia Ignored All Plea to Not Execute The 3 Nigerians

Image
NAN(Abuja): Indonesia executed four convicted drug traffickers, including three Nigerians, early on Friday as it pushed ahead with its “war against drugs”, although another 10 scheduled executions were delayed. As many as 14 people were originally set to face the firing squad together on Friday, but officials decided a “comprehensive review” was needed to “avoid any mistake” in the 10 cases, Attorney General H. Muhammad Prasetyo said. The date for the next round of executions has not been set, Prasetyo told reporters in Jakarta. At least two prisoners among that group of 10, a Pakistani national and an Indonesian woman have applied for presidential clemency, their representatives said. They said legal proceedings could take a long time. Those executed – three Nigerians and an Indonesian man – were shot during a thunderstorm shortly after midnight on Nusakambangan Island in Central Java. The government ignored international calls for clemency and pushed ahead with its dri

MTN bides its time for Nigeria listing

MTN Group said on Thursday it was on track to list its Nigerian unit in 2017. But the business will only be listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange "as soon as commercially and legally possible". The listing is part of a 330-billion naira ($1.06bn) fine settlement the firm reached with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). MTN was fined in October 2015 for missing the deadline to switch off 5.1-million subscribers as part of the customer registration law. MTN Nigeria has so far paid 80-billion naira to the NCC for the fine. MTN Nigeria had established a management task team that would guide the company towards a listing, MTN said. "The proposed listing would be subject to suitable market circumstances and conditions, and the appropriate approvals from relevant regulators and other stakeholders," the group said. In June, MTN executive chairman Phuthuma Nhleko said the group would not lose control of its Nigerian subsidiary when the company was li
