Andy West dumps fiancee Ed Hutton after cheating rumours

Big Brother star ends relationship after romantic proposal on the show

ANDY West has reportedly called off his engagement to fiancé Ed Hutton.

The Big Brother star - who was proposed to on the show – allegedly called off the big day after reports emerged that Ed had used the gay dating app Grindr and asked a stranger for casual sex. 

And after claiming that the pair were still going strong, Andy has apparently now called the wedding off after being “so embarrassed” by the rumours surrounding his husband-to-be.

Andy took to Twitter to post a cryptic message, saying: “I thought the drama would finish after leaving the house. Hey ho. Everyone's kindness and encouragement keeps me going! Love you. X”

Fans were quick to comment on the heartfelt message – which was presumed to be about Ed – with one writing: “So sorry to hear. But you are worth so much more than that. Such a lovely, loyal person! On to bigger and better things. Xx”

The star was later spotted in London – without his engagement ring on.

Another fan added: “Am I right in presuming your ring isn't just being size adjusted then? Stay strong Andy we're all here supporting you.”

Andy also posted that he was missing the Celebrity Big Brother launch because “love and life kept me out tonight”.

The rumours come just weeks after Ed got down on one knee in the Big Brother house – to a tearful yes – with Andy declaring: “I'm so lucky, I knew it before but being in here...I can't live without you." 

Moments later, Andy shared the news with his fellow housemates and announced: "I’m going to be a bride.”

But according to The Sun, the couple are over for good. A source said: “Andy was telling friends that he simply doesn’t believe Eds’ explanation. When he first came out of the house he had too much to process after over a month holed away with no contact with the outside world.

“But now he’s had time to think about everything, he is deeply, deeply embarrassed about the whole thing. Last night he took his engagement ring off – it’s over for good.”
