Actress shuts down rumours after tying the knot earlier this year

EVA Longoria has shut down reports that she's planning to adopt with her husband José Bastón.

The Desperate Housewives star was claimed to have been looking into adoption, according to a US publication.

The actress became a stepmother to her husband's 3 children from a previous marriage to actress Natalia Esperon.

But a representative for the star has since responded after the publication claimed she had become "broody".

A spokesperson for Eva dismissed the adoption claims, telling GossipCop.com: "It's not true."

The actress and her Mexican beau tied the knot in a romantic sunset ceremony in Mexico in May.

"They married on an altar under lots of little lights," a source said.

"It was very romantic. Eva wore her hair down and smiled during the whole ceremony. He was in a grey suit."

David and Victoria Beckham, Penelope Cruz, Ricky Martin and Katy Perry were among the guests.

The 41-year-old actress first stepped out as a couple with the 47-year-old TV executive, known as Pepe, in November 2014.
