J.K. Rowling receives the best, yet unacceptable, birthday gift from her son

Harry Potter author celebrates her 51st birthday with family and friends
J.K. Rowling celebrated her 51st birthday on Sunday – the same birthday as her famous character Harry Potter.
The author took to Twitter to share updates of the celebrations, and even posed a few surprises from her family.
One hilarious gift was presented by her son, which the philanthropist deemed “unacceptable”.
The white mug featured a sketch of a moody looking owl, with the words: “Irritable Owl Syndrome”.
A speech bubble above the owl read: “F**k Off.”
J.K. shared a picture of the gift with her 7.82 million Twitter followers.
She captioned it: “I think we can all agree that this is an unacceptable gift from a son to his mother on her birthday.”
The mum-of-three also shared a snap of her cake, which she received at midnight.
The incredible present came in the shape of the iconic Kings Cross station, as well as figures of Harry’s luggage and Hogwarts trunk.
In another picture, J.K. posed alongside Noma Dumezweni, who plays Hermione Granger in the stage performance of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child
She captioned the snap: “Noma gives the best birthday hugs @MissDumezweni.”
The day also marked the start of The Cursed Child’s West End run, as well as the release of the much-anticipated script.
