Chelsea now more hated than Manchester United as fans vote for their most despised Premier League clubs
United have notoriously been the most disliked team in the Premier League but the 2016 statistics show that more people now show hate to Chelsea
Chelsea have overtaken Manchester United as the most hated club in the Premier League.
A survey run by the Mirror asked fans of each top flight club which sides they hate, and which they love, and the west London club came out as the most disliked club overall.
Manchester United, who won the dubious accolade last year, have been revealed to be the next most reviled side.
Nearly 10,000 fans of clubs from across the country had their say in the annual poll
The results weighted the opinions of each club equally, making the overall table a fair representation of the view of the average football fan.
Bournemouth came bottom of the list, making them the division’s least hated club.
Leicester were second - proving that success alone isn’t enough to make rival fans hate your side.
Watford, Southampton and Burnley came next.
Manchester United fans hate Manchester City the most and then Liverpool. United are also the most hated club of both Liverpool and City.
