MOM ARRESTED FOR THREATENING TO BEAT UP HER SON’S RAPE VICTIM
Michigan police have arrested the mother of a man accused of raping at least one woman after shethreatened a victim.
Joshua Humphrey and Larry Donell Stiff have been charged with raping at least two women as police investigate the possibility of there being more victims. Humphrey and Stiff reportedly used date rape drugs on their victims before sexually assaulting them.
According to Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat the drug the two accused suspects used was Tramadol HCL. Investigators are now looking at the cases of “at least a dozen victims” in addition to the two victims Humphrey and Stiff have already been accused of sexually assaulting.
Mlive.com reports that one of those victims was threatened by Humphrey’s mother, Lynette Sue Humphrey, who called the woman and left a voicemail in which she threatened to beat the woman up. Ms. Humphrey was arrested and charged with witness intimidation. She is being held on $20,000 bond and faces a maximum of 20 years in jail.
