Fans can't cope with how different Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown looks with longer hair

MILLIE Bobby Brown has become a huge name since Stranger Things hit Netflix earlier this month.

Viewers will be familiar with her slightly creepy, shaven-haired character, Eleven, but very few will have seen her with longer hair.

But a picture of the 12 year old before she walked on set, complete with chest-length brunette locks, has left everyone shocked.

And it seems as though her parents were as surprised with her new look as fans are with her old one. 

Speaking to Vulture, she explained: “I had very long hair and I cut it all off for the part.

“I read the script and I was so happy with my character and I thought: ‘This is how it’s gotta be’. My mum and my grandpa were like: ‘No, you can’t do that.’

“It took me 12 years - well, 11 years - to grow something. [My hair] wasn’t thick, but it was long. And then they shaved it all off and it was very hard for my parents. But I convinced them.

Millie, who has also starred in Grey’s Anatomy and Modern Family, added: “I was like: ‘Dude, it grows back. It’s fine.”
